Biography

Passion. Experience. Diligence.

I grew up in a small farming community in western Illinois. After graduating high school, I moved to South Bend and attended Holy Cross College (AA 2005) and the University of Notre Dame (BA 2008). I attended law school at the Indiana University-Maurer School of Law and received my JD in 2012.

I began working as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the Marion County Prosecutor’s on the Special Victim’s Team. During that time I handled cases involving domestic violence, child neglect, sex crimes, child battery, and animal cruelty. After working there for four years, my family and I returned to South Bend where I began working with the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office in the Special Victim’s Unit. Eventually, I began working for the University of Notre Dame at the law school and working in private practice.

I have worked passionately throughout my career to speak for those who can’t. Whether it has been working for victims of crime to those who are accused of crimes, I have worked tirelessly to advance their causes. My time as both a deputy prosecuting attorney and a defense attorney makes me an ideal advocate to ensure that you receive the justice to which you are entitled.
